Long Arm Quilting
- Edge to edge quilting with a simple pattern and one thread color is priced at $0.01 per square inch. To find the square inches of your quilt top, measure the length and width and multiply the two figures together.
A standard queen size quilt is 60" by 80"
Length x Width = Square Inches
60 x 80 = 4,800 - Multiply the Square Inches by $0.01
4,800 x $0.01 = $48 - Each project includes a base supplies fee of $10 for the cost of the thread, needle and long arm machine maintenance. The queen size quilt in the example above would be priced at $58.
- The minimum project cost is $40.
Long Arm Quilting - Complex Pattern
- Edge to edge quilting with a custom pattern, multiple patterns based on your quilt design, or more than one thread color is priced at $0.02 per square inch. Using the standard queen size quilt example above, the pricing would be as follows:
60 x 80 = 4,800
4,800 x $0.02 = $96 - Base fee of $10 for the cost of thread, needle and long arm machine maintenance applies. This queen size quilt would be priced at $106.
- The minimum project cost is $40.
Quilt Binding
- We provide our customers with the option of having their quilt bound by Madison Stitch-Miss.
- You provide the binding fabric, we provide the binding services. Our services include machine-sewing on the front and hand stitched invisible stitches on the back with mitered corners.
- Quilt binding is priced at $0.25 per linear inch. To find the linear inches add the length and the width of your quilt top together. Multiply the linear inches by $0.25.
60 + 80 = 140 linear inches
140 x $0.25 = $35.
